“This is my community; these are my people. There is something magical about 1589 Peachtree Street that has been connecting generations of Jewish people since 1867.”

The Temple is where we gather to find meaning, strength, and connection in an uncertain world. Dream–Build–Inspire will strengthen the sense of community we all seek and fortify the connections we have to each other across generations and for decades to come.

As we strive to build community among a growing congregation and across all stages of life, we find ourselves challenged by space constraints. This campaign will fund fresh and improved spaces for us to convene, celebrate our shared legacy, and explore our faith together.

The current Breman Education Center (BEC) classrooms within the Marx building will be refurbished with fresh paint, carpet, lighting, and furnishings. In addition, the third floor of the Rosenberg building and the new building adjoining the Rosenberg Building will feature modern, flexible meeting spaces, classrooms, break-out spaces, and renovated restrooms. We’ll also gain a large, multipurpose space with the flexibility to become whatever we need it to be: a hang-out space for teens, a lecture hall for cultural arts programs, or a studio for yoga classes—the possibilities are endless.
